5 x 1 - Dr Jackie Elliot - The presentation was an update of progress on the 5x1 week DAFNE randomised controlled trial. This trial is designed to test if the outcomes of DAFNE are the same whether the course is delivered over 5 days in one week, or one day a week over 5 weeks. The courses in the 7 centres are now complete, the major issue is now follow-up and data collection. Initial analysis of baseline demographics show the groups are well-matched. Results of the trial will be available September 2012.
