The DAFNE Programme is a working collaborative of 75 diabetes services from NHS Trusts and Health Boards across the UK and Southern Ireland.
The programme is not-for-profit and is funded by equal contributions from all 75 participating services in the UK and Southern Ireland and International partners Oz DAFNE (including Singapore and New Zealand) and DAFNE Q8.
The programme is hosted by Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, with an elected Executive Board.
The Collaborative are responsible for the provision of the DAFNE Programme which is a structured Education Programme in intensive Insulin Therapy for Adults with Type 1 Diabetes enabling them to adjust Insulin Dose on a meal by meal basis. For further information please go to Fact Sheet 1.
