I’m delighted to inform you all that a submission by Dr Sean Dinneen, Mary Clare O’Hara and the Galway Diabetes Education DAFNE and DESMOND Teams entitled “Introducing and Embedding Structured Diabetes Education Programmes in Galway” has won the "Patient Lifestyle Education Project" category at the Irish Medical Times 2013 Healthcare Awards.

The awards night was a prestigious black tie gala event hosted in The Shelbourne Hotel, on 7th November, by the Irish Medical Times.  Pictures from the awards night are below.
