We were delighted to receive 32 applications for YDF DAFNE training Fellowships this year. The judging process proved difficult due to the high quality of most of the entries. We produced a shortlist of 15 names, and 10 of these were randomly allocated as winners. Congratulations to the successful applicants. We would encourage unsuccessful applicants to apply locally for study leave and funding approval for DAFNE training as experience in intensive insulin management is a vital component of specialty training in Diabetes care.
We will be accepting applications for 2013 places during 2012. Further information and an application form will be available by March 2012. The information will also be available in delegate packs at the YDF Annual Day on 13 March 2012 and the Insulin Pump Course in September 2012.
